I had to go back to Sonic Mania as a palette cleanser and just to make sure I wasn't going crazy but nope.
So much more responsive, zero lag, accurate physics, literally everything is better.
The fact they tried to say they'd cracked the physics with 3D in Sonic Superstars is laughable.
