Strange how little mythology NewWho added in 15 series: only Weeping Angels (really a 1 story idea), Empty Child’s gas mask zombies (surely even RTD wouldn’t try that again), & the Midnight entity (disastrous sequel to that this season) are memorable, hence desperate plundering of the old series.
