This is a great topic. Innovation is such a wall and lately in tabletop RPGs has been kinda been trending towards board gamification: proprietary cards (Phoenix dawn command), mats w/cards(jiangshi) spinners as dice (some indie RPG), etc
So of course folks start looking towards traditional rpgs
