54 years ago, California literally got a wakeup call.
The magnitude 6.6 San Fernando earthquake struck at 6 a.m. on Feb. 9, 1971, just north of the San Fernando Valley. The earthquake left 65 dead, 2,000 injured & caused $500 million in damage (about $3.2 billion today). 🧪⚒️
