There's enough difference between a Zelda-like RPG-- emphasis on execution-heavy gameplay, to the point that it's a platformer 90% of the time-- and a FF/DQ-like menu based RPG that a distinction is warranted.
But Action RPG exists as a term and Zelda practically invented the genre.
