This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

After spending just about an hour with it, I can understand why people really like Balatro. The stacking modifiers and the shifting in how hands are scored turns it from plain poker in the first few rounds to two-pairs beating royal flushes in the next.
Looking forward to playing around with it.
