My favorite typeface is Galliard.
It’s stiff, formal, and seriffed. Extremely awkward as a body copy but I loved to use it for subheads.
Think of it as a Garamond but with old money.
It’s been more than a decade since I’ve done any serious design and probably even longer since I used it.
