I was 10000% certain they’d use the Join Bug to form bug-Gogeta or Majin Duukuu or something. Overall I’m OK that they didn’t, but the way the Join Bug isn’t mentioned at all this episode makes it seem more like a dropped plot thread than an expectation-subverting joke.
