This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

My first goal was to visualize the underlying data structures for standoff. Standoff uses offsets to define spans (sometimes called Annotations or Marks) to specify semantics and/or formatting (anything, actually!) about the text.
This UI is my attempt to show that.
