It's hard to say how much of that is purely to do with tweaks to the difficulty though - my biggest roadblock so far was the chapter 2 boss in 2B (whom i beat on my 2nd try in 2 earlier today), it took me something like 6-8 tries largely because I couldn't see what the hell was even going on!
