This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

If you’re happy with the way you learn and read music now, stick with it.
Tabs were far less useful to me than just having the chords. I never really learned a solo from a tab, I did it by ear. The note highway just makes sense to me because I learned Guitar Hero before the actual instrument.
