Loving the ephemeral "streams" of our ecosystem restoration area. This one, winding its way downhill between berry-laden Toyons and budding Ceanothus, is made of Salvia spathacea. Its crushed leaves smell of apples, and it will soon send up fuchsia-colored flower spikes for the hummingbirds. 🌎🌿🌧️ /|\
