11 half-ones in. Time to bite bullet. First marathon April in Connemara. A bit dopey to do your first marathon in a hilly part of west of Ireland? Too late now. Did my first half one there in 2018. Could just be me but atmosphere feels nicer at hillier ones. Lovely scenery, less concern for times.
