This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Inkscape is more of an alternative for Illustrator, and Blender is for 3D stuff which i really don't do ... i've tried Kdenlive a while back for video editing, that was quite okay ... maybe i'll revisit that sometime ... Krita looks really interesting thought, i'm gonna have a look at that!
