It takes until the end of the book to find out what she did (which works) but the book feels padded w metaphor & actively fights against finding meaning (which, to be fair, is what Salome is thinking & feeling). Felt way longer than 181 pgs. Still a good read, but YMMV on the writing style. [2/2]
