Finally, my favorite DEFA actress, Christel Bodenstein, died December 5th at the age of 86. She was featured in "East Side Story" (1997) before I knew who she was, and it is to her and the other actors, writers, directors, and technicians at DEFA to whom this series is dedicated. Auf weidersehen!
