This is a heavily interactive web application, and JavaScript is required. Simple HTML interfaces are possible, but that is not what this is.

Not in the slightest. I was required to use it for a couple of classes and absolutely hated it.
The “programming language” part was more or less a joke because having to install programs and files usual required “sudo nano -t” and some other alien ciphers just to get Wiresahark to run
