For #TankTuesday, here's a great photo of an M4A3 Sherman of the 5th Tank Battalion (US Marines) stuck in sand in Iwo Jima, 1945.
What is striking about this shot is the amount of extra protection given to the tank against Japanese tank hunter teams.
