One of the great, truly underrated bands I think. Sufjan Stevens has a beautiful cover of ‘The Lakes of Canada’ and wrote a beautiful essay on it on his old blog I’ve never been able to find again – it’s a skeleton key to his whole songwriting style. Mysterious, utterly emotively charged, real.
