I’m 6 books into Brandon Sanderson’s works and I like them overall (Mistborn is the best by far) but it’s very noticeable that he, a Mormon, created the exact same conservative gender roles in all of his worlds, with demure proper ladies every time. It’s a valid choice, but he did it 4 times.
